Cover artwork for Blackstorm's 'Iron Harvest' single. This piece was pretty heavily composited in Photoshop - the foreground, midground, background and sky are all separate elements, extra trees and flowers were added, the bomb is also comprised of several parts, and most of the lighting was created digitally, all with the aim of getting the tone of the image just right - bleak, but with a degree of reverence. Film grain and scratches were applied over the top, again to hit the right tone, but also to help unify the different parts of the image.
