Matthew K. Grundy was born in 1974 in Nottingham, England. After spending the first 25 years of his life largely playing in, crewing for and travelling the world with various bands, he returned to college to study first Multimedia Design and later screen printing.

Inspired by digital art and design technology, he set out to combine this with the more traditional techniques he had grown up using to create work informed by both the classic and contemporary artists and designers he admired, and more 'cult' influences of music, movie and comicbook art.

Finding a natural home for his work in the music scene he had previously been part of as a musician, he has created album artwork and packaging, gig posters, t-shirts, websites and full advertising campaigns for many artists, and his work is now beginning to expand into other areas such as skateboard art, comics, and the production of limited edition screen printed art, packaging and apparel.
